Dr. Zev Zelenko is dying. He has been battling cancer for some time and he's going downhill. He has been my hero through this entire c-*-v-1-d hoo-hah. I'm feeling sad after reading this article. www.redvoicemedia.com/2022/06/dr-zelenko-is-dying-creates-z-freedom-foundation-life-is-much-bigger-than-any-one-individual-video/?utm_source=daily-email-breaking&utm_medium=emailHe said, "“I started the Zelenko Freedom Foundation because I’m dying, it seems. I’ve been here before, so I can’t say for sure. God has played ping pong with my soul. But at this point, my health situation has seriously changed. I basically need a wheelchair to move around. I need help taking a shower, preparing food, going to the bathroom. So, as I look at this stage of my life and my body is failing me, legacy becomes essential. I think life is much bigger than any one individual. And if we could set up systems in place that can propagate principles of truth, of love, have courage to do what’s right, not what’s easy, I think it’s a worthy use of someone’s last energies. I want the epitome of truthful messaging, journalism, through various platforms, whether it’s social media, regular media, print media, irrelevant word of mouth – I want the truth like a mantra propagated. I’m presenting to you a different perspective than what you’ve been told.” vladimirzelenkomd.com/And now, I'm going to bed. I stayed up to watch the local news which finally aired after Golden State won the NBA championship & all the celebrating that went with that. See y'all in the morning. Hard to believe we're halfway through June already. Wow!

Good morning! It looks like we are going to have a hot sunny day here. My Doctor called me yesterday afternoon. The results of my blood test yesterday morning weren't so good. It seems that my kidney function is still getting steadily worse. The doctor wants me to start taking yet another new medicine, but my insurance company is making us jump through hoops to get it since it is rather expensive and not on their list of approved drugs. At least the Doctor was able to give me some sample packs of the new medicine to get me started while we deal with the insurance company's special authorization process.

Thank God your Doctor had sample packs on hand. Insurance seems to be getting worse by the day. Praying for your health, Mel, and your patience. Good morning, Jeanette! It's another hot day here. The next 10 days should hover around 100 degrees every afternoon. We're battling a sewer line issue today at one of the duplexes. Y'know, if tenants would only call when problems first arise, a lot of issues could be handled early before they become big, expensive, and messy/nasty problems. ... I like my job, but I'll be happy when Nita is back next week.

Howdy! Been a long day! I just found out that the sewer problem at the duplex is in the City main! Whoop whoop! Our owner will be pleased to find that out. We had leftover BBQ pulled turkey, with mashed potatoes and what was left of the 3-bean salad. It was all tasty. I have to pick up a couple cucumbers & tomatoes tomorrow to turn into a summer salad. I have to sort keys this evening so I'd better get on with that. I wanted to do that every day this week, but was constantly being interrupted. No, not on the clock, more like a hobby.

Good morning Mel! Good morning Jeanette! We had a mild dew overnight. The grass in our backyard is really lush. Milo has to touch, smell, taste every foreign object he encounters. It's a whole new world. He applied that wonder to my vintage Corelle coffee cup last evening. Thankfully, when it hit the floor & broke, he jumped back. I started with 4 of those vintage coffee cups. Ge'dogg broke one with his tail, years back. I broke one a few months back, & now Milo k.o.'d one. It's ok. If I actually need a coffee cup one of these days, I'll buy one. Hope y'all have a great Saturday!

People are disgusting. I can hardly believe some of the rude ignorant comments that I've seen today on Facebook and elsewhere over President Biden falling off of his bicycle this morning. I'm no fan of Biden by any means, but there is nothing funny about an elderly man falling.

I think that man is the worst president we've had in my lifetime, [/i]but[/i] I don't waste time hating the man or wishing him bad things. Have people really been raised without morals & values over the past 3-4 decades, or have they chosen to abandon the morals and values they were raised with?

Here's Milo at 1-week of life at our house. The top of this couch is one of his favorite spots in the house.

I took a photo of Milo the actual first full day he was at our house & I'll post it later today. It's surprising how long he is, and that tail looks like it belongs on a fox. Going grocery shopping - we need fresh produce! And milk. See y'all later.
