I'm home. Some of Sharon's family members are working on removing the trim around the kitchen and bathroom doors so that my wheelchair will fit through. Glad to hear it. I was hoping your home wouldn't need too much remodeling, but most homes of any age would need some. I'm hoping you can get outside - on a porch or patio, or walkway - something with a little shade so you can sit out on sunny days. I'm speaking from what I would want, of course, hehe. Praying all goes well for you, brother! Barb the boys play flag football & their sister plays soccer They’re all so cute like puppies running up & down the fields DD#2 is gonna drop her kiddos off, as she’s taking their bunny to the emergency vet. He hasn’t eaten today. It could be hours, praying Mr.Blizzard is ok I think it's great there are a number of opportunities for kids to play sports, starting from a young age. DS still plays flag football - those guys are all grown & trying not to beat their bodies up too badly. He also plays basketball, most winters. ... Said a prayer for Mr. Blizzard, Jeanette - I hope he's okay. Is he a white rabbit?

Please keep Mr. Blizzard, DD#2’s bunny in prayer. Thankfully she found a vet that would treat him, here in our area. He's staying overnight. Praying that he'll “potty” asap & recover.
Thank you
Yes, he’s a big white rabbit, and a lovable bunny.

Yes, he’s a big white rabbit, and a lovable bunny. Praying for Mr. Blizzard. He sounds like a great pet! I had a big white rabbit my senior year at WVU. He was an excess lab animal - the ag school gave them away. He was very lovable too. I have a real soft spot in my heart for big white rabbits. edited to add: I'm really tired this evening. We had a simple dinner of fish fillets and green beans. I had a handful of peanuts, pecans, and blueberries for desert. Mm, boy, was that delicious. I hope you each and all get a good evening's rest and good night's sleep.

Good afternoon all! Thanks for posting your church's service, Mel. I'll watch it this evening. Dr. Jeffress is continuing the Perfect Ending series. He preached part 2 of the Rapture last Sunday; today's sermon was the 1st sermon of probably 3 on the tribulation. Today was the introduction, and historical set up for it. It was pretty interesting.
Praying for you this afternoon, Mel.
Hope all is going well with you too, Jeanette.
I'm heading out to pick up some groceries, after I take some shirts out of the dryer - can't let them wrinkle.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday afternoon.

Mr. Blizzard ate a little bit of parsley, is combative to treat & gave one pellet. Praying for medicine to work, praying for DD#2 & kiddos … ❤️

Hi, Jeanette! Hi, Mel! I'm praying Mr. Blizzard is feeling much better by morning. Praying for your DD#2 and her kiddos too, Jeanette. Hope things are going well for you, Mel. Sending you hugs, and praying for you in all concerns. Spent most of the afternoon at the commissary, grocery shopping. The place was full of people. This, of course, is payday weekend. There were a lot of empty spaces on the shelves. Much of it could be due to the number of people who've been through there since Thursday afternoon. Or some part of it could be due to supply chain issues and machinations in ordering stock. I still bought plenty of food that we will eat over the coming months so it was a worthwhile trip. I'm planning to go to Wal-Mart tomorrow afternoon & see if they have any turkey on hand. It got up to 80 this afternoon. Little Leela was in the pond, chasing frogs. She came charging up out of there with a lot of splashing noise when I came home & walked out back. She was dripping water all along her sides and grinning like she'd really been enjoying herself. Pup Fran, on the other hand, is hobbling around this evening like her arthritis is really bothering her. There's a heavy duty storm system just north of us and that's probably what's affecting her. I just gave her a cosequin. Hopefully it'll help. See y'all tomorrow, unless we meet in the air tonight! I love you guys!

Good morning! It is 30 degrees here this morning with a forecast high of 55. I'm doing OK with the wheelchair but really hate being alone at night. Lots of really strange dreams these last 2 nights.

Good morning. I went to physical therapy 1st thing today. It's probably a good thing, too soon to tell. Cold & rainy today. Glad you're getting around the house okay, Mel. That little cat in the t.p. is a hoot. I'm heading in the office to get a hot cup of coffee - didn't wear a coat today. ______________ Things are jumping around the office today. I'm playing 1st of the month catch-up right now.

Lowes wouldn’t return the faucet that broke, as it was purchased in September, 2020. It wasn’t installed until October, 2020. They’ll only return items up to 90 days.
DH wrote an email to the manufacturer & complained. Supposedly guaranteed for life. They stated he didn’t register it, so we’re out the price of another faucet. (We also paid a plumber fee.)
DH has just headed out to drop taxes off to an accountant to get done. Although it’s late & this is someone new, as the other place we’ve been using has gone downhill re service since the accountant left there and it’s now just a tax prep place.
DD#2 recommended this accountant . She hadn’t used her yet, but good reviews from other of her people. (They have to change too.)
DD#3 had also recommended an accountant, but he wouldn’t be able to get to the taxes until May .
Praying that I can just let go of stuff that I have no control over & DH has been too busy at his job to handle …
Praying for an attitude adjustment on my part.
Thankful DH is off today & tomorrow, although everything that’s been piling up isn’t going to get handled … there’s a starts happening

Sharon's youngest sister came over to keep me company for a while today and we went for a drive in her car to get me out of the house for a while.
This evening I am just relaxing and snacking on popcorn.
Tomorrow morning I have to go into the surgeon's office to get the surgical staples (about 30 of them) removed from the stump of my leg. Then in the afternoon, the lady from the home nursing company is coming to the house to evaluate me for at home therapy.

The rain poured for a few hours this afternoon. I worked 6 hours today, which is at least 2 more than usual. It was a long day. Sweetie & I stopped at a Pho restaurant for dinner. I think we each enjoyed a quart of beef, broth, rice noodles, green onions, bean sprouts and jalapenos. It was delicious - made my eyes and nose run. Definitely cleared up my sinus headache. Getting out of the house has to be good for you, Mel - fresh air is great stuff. I'm glad you're close to Sharon's family. Which leg was amputated? I'm praying that nights become easier for you. I surely have no answers in that area of nights & sleep. I'm really happy to hear Mr. Blizzard is acting all rabbit-ish. I hope he makes a full recovery. Well, I need to get to work early tomorrow because I'm leaving early so I'd better call in the dogs & head to bed. I need the rest. Hope you all sleep well tonight. See y'all tomorrow.
