What a day ... still don't have the Tahoe back, so still sharing 1 vehicle with Edward (thanking God we get along so well!). Still don't have the freezer picked up. But, tomorrow -for sure!- DS assured me he & oldest grandson can get it tomorrow (L gets off work early; he can take her suv while she stays home w/the 2 younger grands). I couldn't get gmail added to this old computer - could never make sense of it, so I couldn't get the after-action report on the Section 8 inspection. That means I have to be at the office at 8 in the morning so I can send it to our handyman, who I did get on the phone with a few minutes ago. That's gotta happen before I go to physical therapy - I need to be there about 8:30 a.m. For all the good things I got done this afternoon, which were not acknowledged let alone appreciated ... I felt like the 2nd half of the afternoon was like this: I'm not mad. I had a pretty good day. Gonna walk out back with the hounds & then go to bed. See y'all tomorrow! I love y'all!

‘Evening Mel, Barb, and anyone else stopping by … Slow moving day today Managed to finally get it together & go to a couple of grocery stores & ATM. Shutterfly was my distraction today.
DH had let me know plumber would be here, however he was a no show. Now it’s tomorrow morning. Pray I awake & function before they get here!
Translation of my thoughts re guy speak: DH texts Plumber, who works everywhere like on new building of houses etc. Plumber means well, plans to get here, but then life happens in some form or another & he forgets lol
I’m fine without a kitchen sink, as I cook somewhat & then clean stuff in the half bathroom sink.
I’ve been working on an album at Shutterfly for granddaughter who turns four in April. I thought there wouldn’t be as many pictures ~ there are!
Right after I’m through with her album, there’s 2 birthdays in May, followed by two in June, and one in July. Two in September, also! The beginning of the year, a grandson, I didn’t make an album … I’m thinking his may be Christmas. Plus the other grandson, I only did one year so I want to go back and do more, probably Christmas…
May you all have restful moments tonight …

Good morning! Beautiful sunrise - but a chilly 50 degrees. Hope the plumber shows up this morning & fixes your sink, Jeanette. Hope your therapy continues well today, Mel. Praying for both of you. Hoping physical therapy is good for my shoulder. I have an apartment to show at noon, and then I need to come home and let Edward have the car to make a doctor's appointment. Praying I get my Tahoe out of the shop by Monday - in good running condition. See y'all later ... also hoping I'm not the first one in our office building - I don't know if the place is still alarmed, and I don't know the code any more to turn off the alarm if it is.

Anybody having phone, text, email, or internet-in-general problems this week? I'm having problems with all of that, and so are a number of people around here. It's a little frustrating.
Hope your day is going well Mel ... and Jeanette ... and anyone who stops by.
I'm waiting to show this apartment. It's been remodeled & it's beautiful. Hope the lady shows up soon.

No tech problems here, but of course my cell phone is the only one of my devices that I currently have access to.
The temperature this afternoon got up to 74, but the next few days are expected to be cold again.
It occurred to me today that it has been almost a month since I have been outside.

It occurred to me today that it has been almost a month since I have been outside. Are you missing the great outdoors? I do, when the weather is too miserable to get outside & enjoy it. Edward, on the other hand, could happily be a cave dweller. Praying for you, in all needs & concerns, Mel. Edward saw his new PC doc this afternoon - for a 2-1/2 hour appointment. I fell asleep in the car waiting on him and napped for a solid hour. After I woke up, Edward called me to come upstairs & meet the doc. He had just finished having an EKG. As it turns out, Sweetie has atrial fibrillation. The doc wrote him out a couple prescriptions, plans to set him up with a cardiologist, and told him to come back in 3 weeks. DS & grandson met us at Lowe's and carted home that 7-cu ft freezer for us. Yay! Here you go - we would say ours is the 2-deer model. I'm going to be careful about filling it up, the goal being to find a variety of good meats on sale - surely there will still be sales. Edward said if nothing else, we can probably buy some beef from ranchers we know around here. See y'all tomorrow! ... How about that, it'll be April 1st. Hard to believe we're that far into 2022.

Good morning- and happy Friday! It was so cold at 8 a.m. that I could see Pup Fran's breath when she barked.
Did your area have snow, Mel? Friends in Arkansas had light snow yesterday afternoon.

‘Afternoon
Plumbers assistants arrived early yesterday morning & installed the new faucet.
I did a complete workout routine yesterday & even got a walk in before heading to church for a ladies thing. Speaker was an older lady who actually been a member for 26 years. She pointed to God & his provisions, Jesus being out Hope… Interesting stories of working in the White House while Presidents Reagan & older Bush. She work with coordinating visitors etc. if I remember correctly.
Overall, it was a good set up for women. I was hugged by 3 women, although I’m not into hugging. Tables were set up very nice, goodies, etc. There was a good mix of older & younger women. Everyone is looking forward to things getting back to normal.
Me? I call it a plan***** & worked at being quiet, as I don’t see anything getting back to normal the way most people think. :-X
I didn’t partake of the various goodies etc, for a couple of reasons. One being, I’m desiring to eat healthier & less dessert calories.
Anyway, I really don’t fit in (never have) so I looked at the evening as an opportunity to go since DH is out of town & perhaps someone else may have needed to know that it’s ok to be different … I also left as soon as we were dismissed, as it was dark out too.
Seriously, DH is a more social person than me. Large groups are way out of my introvert personality. I don’t give my phone number out to potential new acquaintances, as there are days I’m overwhelmed with the ones I do keep up with ~ whether here or long distance lol! Although I’m open to Gods leading …
I’ve been enjoying pureflix stuff, as well as doing Shutterfly and organizing stuff to be given away … plus a workout routine …
Today, a gal & I walked the greenway and there were big furry cows & bull in a field beside the path, as well as a hawk …
Praying for ya, Mel
Thankful you’ve gotten the freezer, Barb

Hi, Jeanette! Hi, Mel! ... Hope those bad storms & heavy rains have all moved on, Mel. We are on the fringe edge of severe storms forecast for tonight. Praying we don't get any of that. Really pretty weather here today, lots of sunshine and mild temperatures; I think we reached the low 70s. Long day at work, but we got a lot of good things done. Our property management company is breaking off from the corporation our broker associate is affiliated with. (She & another realtor are breaking off to form their own real estate company.) It hasn't become common knowledge yet, but it will late next week. I'm going to become 'the' property manager, not simply her 'assistant'. I have a lot to learn, I'm sure. I'm feeling excited and anxious. I was handed the key to our new building, and I toured it this afternoon. The rental dept's office is l-a-r-g-e. Praying for you, Mel. Jeanette, I hope things are going better for you, now that your plumbing issues have been fixed. I totally agree with you: things are not going back to 'normal' as we were all pretty used to 'normal' being, prior to 2020. See y'all tomorrow - I'm heading off to bed; I'm really sleepy tonight. I need to run out back with these dogs, if they want to go, and close & lock up doggy doors & people doors. See you tomorrow. (bet'cha can't read the following without hearing it in the form of the insurance company's jingle )

Good afternoon! We had some rain late last evening, so everything was soaking wet this morning and there were some big puddles around the neighborhood. It's 67 now, with sun and a light breeze, but it doesn't feel that warm. Praying your move home goes smoothly, Mel. Praying you go easy on yourself while getting used to the transition as well. I'm catching up dishes and laundry. I'm about to inventory the upright freezer. Couldn't see any point in grocery shopping until I'd wiped down the new freezer & inventoried what we already have. Hope you arrived on time for your grandson's games. What sport is he playing this early in the spring? Soccer is the first thing that comes to mind, but I know that's not the only sport he could be playing. See you all later!

I'm home.
Some of Sharon's family members are working on removing the trim around the kitchen and bathroom doors so that my wheelchair will fit through.
