Hope your physical therapy goes well! I'm not working at the office today, so I'm working off this list of things to accomplish with the day to do it - bank deposit, reconcile accounts (make sure everything is paid as scheduled), pay the mowing crew, and so forth. We need to measure per the fence builder's estimate and call him. I'm really looking forward to having some new gates. Hope y'all have a great Wednesday!

The arm is a little sore this evening but not too bad.
The therapist wants to see me twice a week for now but doesn't think that I will need it for more than a month or so.
After therapy, I got my groceries and then came home and did the laundry.

Productive day, and I'm about to head to bed ... Walking outside first tho', just to see what the sky looks like. Happy to hear you PT appt went well today, Mel! We found everything we were looking for today without leaving town! We even went out for dinner late afternoon, and then sat around & drank coffee for awhile. A friend's SIL tested positive for Covid yesterday. She's a bit freaked - hoping her daughter & the 4 grandkids don't catch it from him. She's perplexed the medical folks at the location where he tested sent him home without any kind of early treatment. He was tested in preparation for shoulder surgery. I sent her some info we have - Dr. Zelenko's Protocol; the AAPS Home-Based COVID Treatment Guide; and some neat info Edward found on how to dose with Ivermectin. I also promised her prayers for all of them! Wild times we're living in! See y'all tomorrow!

Good morning! We have 2 cold fronts on the way over the next few days, and fall begins next week. And the days are certainly getting shorter.

And the vet's office is back to curbside service only. I made an appointment for next month to take May in for her once a year wellness exam and to get her shots up to date. As of now, our vet is allowing you to come inside as long as you are vaccinated and wear a mask, but otherwise it is curbside. It seems crazy to me that the vet has more restrictions than my actual human Doctors and hospital.

Pill fight! Kinda looks like outta control beer pong! As of now, our vet is allowing you to come inside as long as you are vaccinated and wear a mask, but otherwise it is curbside. It seems crazy to me that the vet has more restrictions than my actual human Doctors and hospital. Wellll, here you have to mask to go into any medical office, any lab, or any hospital. Honestly, it bothers me the least to wear a mask into a medical establishment because I have no idea who has been there with what kind of ailment. I stay as far away as I can from anyone. I discovered yesterday that the bank now has signs demanding no one enter without a mask, and they add that they have no masks to pass out. I had one in my purse -the pale blue paper kind that surgical types used to wear while in surgery. I also have a red bandana! I keep thinking the next time I have to mask some place where I find it exceptionally annoying, I'm gonna whip out that bandana and go in looking like a train robber! (Let's see if I can remember to do it!) Didn't accomplish what I wanted at the office - we had to set up a printer. I am really not comfortable jumping into a project like that (not my office, not my computer, not good directions in the printer box), so the Realtor I'm working for had to do a lot of it. Neither of us could find the place to put paper - and the instructions weren't very good. We finally got it to print! It was dogged persistence, and past experience that kept me going and I stayed until we had the small claims court filing completed and notarized. I'll stop by the county courthouse (gettin' into that place is once again a circus!) and I'll file to evict some problem tenants (lots of drugs going in and out of that apartment). And then hopefully tomorrow afternoon I'll get all the letters done that I was going to do today, plus 3-day notices on anyone who's behind on rent in at least one of the apartment complexes. I came home hot & thirsty, but I'm recovering so I'm going to feed the dogs & cook us some dinner.

Good morning! Beautiful fall-like weather. It's 75 with brilliant sunshine, but the heat has that 'old' feeling to it. It's supposed to be in the low 90s for a few days. Hope you're settled in at DD#2's home, Jeanette, and that things are going well there. Were the shelves still well-stocked at your grocery store, Mel? I stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up some avocados & eggs yesterday afternoon, and they were much better stocked than last week. There still weren't many avocados, and the prices are up a bit, but not too bad. I'm wondering if Tropical Storm Nicholas might have something to do with that. I'm mixing up a favorite casserole with spinach, avocados, and a cream soup to go with breaded turkey cutlets for dinner. Y'all have a great Friday!

It has been kind of "hit or miss" recently. Sometimes they are really well stocked and other times not. I'm not sure if it is a supply chain issue or if they are just not getting stuff stocked regularly due to lack of workers. Lots of local businesses are claiming that they can't get/keep enough help, but I also know lots of people who say that they have applied for jobs at those same businesses but never heard back from them. .
