Good morning! It is a chilly 41 degrees here this morning. Poor May was trying to look out the window that she likes to nap in in the morning, but it was too steamed up to see out of.
She kept looking at the fogged up window, looking at me and meowing, looking at the window again, etc.
Silly kitty.

Happy Saturday morning! Chilly & in the 50s here. Miss May was probably asking you to wipe the condensation off 'her' window. These dogs are not up yet, but it is still pretty dark in the house. Lol It's not 'quite' time for this: or this: but that weather outside "feels" like it's pretty close. I'm feeling very thankful to know God as my Creator, Jesus Christ as my Savior, and the Holy Spirit as the One Who powers up my day. I hope you each and all have a great Saturday!

Just had to tell someone to stop sharing things on my facebook page because they aren't what I would share. No idea how she'll react, she's so certain she knows everything. ____________________________ Been a good afternoon! I've sorted and cleaned; washed & dried doggy blankets; and made a bowl of artichoke tapenade. It was really easy & super tasty, but I had not done that before. We're going to use it like a condiment; put it on spicy coconut turkey cutlets at dinner.

Well, next Tuesday is the first day of Autumn already.
Seems like Summer just started.

Well, next Tuesday is the first day of Autumn already. Seems like Summer just started.
No kidding. I feel like I've been cheated out of days, weeks, months so far this year.
I'm really wanting a trip to the beach - some place warm. Flying anywhere is probably not a good idea yet so it's not realistic to think about flying off to Cocoa Beach, even if I had the time. I've always loved to spend time in San Antonio in the summer, but I'm told it's changed so much and it's a terrible rat race any more, so maybe not the fun place to sightsee and roam around the art galleries and markets like it was a decade ago. I'm back to not sure where I'd go, if I could get away somewhere. Those are some cute cats - the stealthy one, and the spectators.

We have had some interesting wasps, bees, hornets around in the past few weeks. They've been good to have around - I mud daubers, the yellow & black ones with the skinny little waist. Even the carpenter bees that built a home in 2 spots on the back patio we left alone. I'll stick a piece of steel wool in the 2 little holes when it gets cold and they'll go somewhere else next summer. The 2 new ones I had to research because I'd never seen them before. The first one is a blue mud dauber. Well, heh, they're welcome to stick around too. The second is a hornet, I thought. It's big in size - up to a couple inches in length. They've been burrowing into the ground and building nests. They turned out to be cicada killer wasps. They're beneficial, and unlikely to sting, so they're welcome to stay too.
