Good evening š DH & I just watch the movie, āInvincibleā. Good beginning for the Eagles š¦
season!
DH & DD#3 went & checked out another cabinet provider this morning, plus an appointment with the man from another one who came in & measured with a free estimate. Monday, two more Folks due in for measurements. One is free & the other costs, but would be applied to the purchased.
DH started last night attempting to get the tile up from the foyer. Discovered more tools, etc, are needed, so thatās on hold.
I purchased a tree & some flowers with a Motherās Day gift card from DS. It is a good time, as heāll be over tomorrow for the game and wants to help plant them.
DH was able to donate the old upper cabinets that he had taken down last weekend. We didnāt need any receipt, as we were thankful that they are out of the garage.
Flooring will be delivered on Wednesday, so the garage needs to be cleared. I still have to go through some stuff and get it out of the way.
Thankful DD#3 is really good at finding deals.
Monday, the auto goes into the shop for maintance. I am praying that it doesnāt cost anything major.
Tuesday, I will attend a womenās Bible study on the āArmor of Godā. I have the book since I had signed up for the study way back before heart surgery.
Wednesday, Iāll child care DD#3ās kiddos at their home, as she has work. itās a school Day at home, & her DH has conference calls while working at home.
Thursday, American Vets comes around and I hope the weather cooperates and I put stuff out in time.
Friday, early walk & talk with a newer friend who Iāve been walking with most Fridays since her DH had passed in April.

Hi, Jeanette! Happy to hear your remodeling project is getting off to a good start. You're right - it's a great time to plant for the next growing season. My mother would always separate and transplant the peonies at this time of year. I always enjoyed helping her do that. Have fun watching the game tomorrow! __________________________ Well, after being in a whiny, weird mood today - and feeling like I had no energy - I've sat here reading part of a Pathway to Victory magazine on the End Times. The book Robert Jeffress is working through is titled, Final Conquest; this month's devotionals go along with that book. He's expecting persecution of Christians to increase greatly in the near future. His description of how that will happens makes great sense. It might sound backwards, but I actually snapped out of the funk I was in all day. I'm thankful, and hopeful. Goodnight, y'all! I love you guys! See you tomorrow!

Good morning! It's going to be another cool rainy day here. I didn't turn the furnace on last night, but I thought about it.
I did get up and add an extra blanket to the bed around 3 AM.
for all needs today.

Good morning everyone !
Barb, yes, I agree re the persecution of Christians will be a part of whatās ahead for our country. We already see itās beginnings happening! Why would we not be? Our Lord Jesus let us know that since the world hated Him, that it would hate His followers! (John 15:17-19, KJV). All around the world, Christians are and have been persecuted for being followers of Jesus!

But, in my mind, I've always thought, "This is America - that sort of stuff doesn't happen here. This country is Christian, Christians are the grassroots people here." Well, all of this "stuff" that's been going on for the past 6 months, right here in America, has left me with my jaw on the floor some days and foaming at the mouth in rage & disgust other days. I think the rollercoaster of events in this country has really sped up during these 6 months. Closing down worship services is a really big deal - the governor of California is on a personal mission, I think, to destroy John MacArthur's Church, along with several others. Of course, the way in which our country has accepted & legalized sin, & is in the process of further making laws to prosecute those who speak out against now-legalized sinful acts, I should have tuned in before now.

Beautiful day after a very foggy morning & chilly dawn. It was cold in the house this morning, and I didn't 'have' to be up so I laid back down & made sure I was under all the covers. Leela curled up next to me. We both got warm and went back to sleep for an hour. I that dog. We had enough smoke from the western fires to keep the sky pretty hazy all day. It was much clearer today. It may stay north of us this week. We'll see. Probably will be chilly again tonight. We had a pot of zucchini & 1-bean chili for dinner - I wasn't in the mood to cook it up last evening so we had fish fillets, potato salad, and the last of the dark greens. This evening's chili was pretty tasty. Y'all have a nice evening ... I'm going to watch an episode of Columbo, my favorite detective.

Good morning! We had another really chilly night here last night.
Today's high is only expected to be in the 60s, and later in the week we are forecast to have a couple of days in the 40s.
We don't usually get days that cool here until mid to late October.
Hard to believe that just a few weeks ago we were setting record highs almost every day.

We're still under a mask/lockdown mandate in Massachusetts, FWIW.

Good morning! Some unsaved people who I really care about have been in my life this morning (they're regulars in my life). Hard to let them go on their merry lost way, but I can't be heavy handed in talking with them. Some days, after even a brief visit, like today, I feel like . I made a thread in the prayer forum because they - and I - could use prayer warrior help. The local tv station's weather app said we had a heavy rain around 8:30 this morning and roads were wet and hazardous. The radar view supported that. I could see the sun shining so went out back for the 3rd time to see if maybe we were having a sun shower? Nah, everything was just as dry as it had been for the previous hour. It's chilly too, tho will likely warm up to the mid-80s.

Thank you, Mel! Interesting thing, Eric has already come back this morning and opened up a brief discussion on the rapture. Thanking God for a foot in the door! I have to get out of this house shortly and pay the triplex water bill. I've already spent time on-hold this morning with the city's trash collection office because the tenants' trashcarts aren't being picked up at that location. So...and then I'm off to sign a couple of petitions, pick up the t-shirt, and hopefully be a part of recalling lame leaders in our local government. We'll see how that goes. This state isn't locked down, nor does it have a mask mandate. Our city is only 'sort of' opened up and we do have a mask mandate. That's what we're fighting against. Edward just walked in here & told me to look up Matthew 5:9 & read it aloud. Okay - and his point? Well, Trump is negotiating peace at present in the Middle East. He wants me to remind someone of that, next time they're on a roll that Trump is the anti-Christ. See y'all later!

I have been a student of Bible prophecy ever since discovering Hal Lindsay's books as a child in the early 1970s.
More and more as I see events unfolding in the world recently, I am more convinced than I have ever been before that the time for Christ to Rapture His Church is very very near.
Last evening, I had the urge to sit down and reread the entire Book of Revelation from beginning to end.
One thing that really stood out to me this time was that even after the Church is Raptured, one of the purposes of the Tribulation is to bring about the biggest spiritual revival in history before the final Return of Christ at the end of that awful period of history.
So while I hate the thought of my unsaved friends and family being left behind to live through the horrors of that time, I also have hope that maybe, just maybe, that is what would finally be enough to get through to some of them and bring them to Christ finally even if they can't be reached before.

By the way Barb, I'm not sure what made me think of it just now, but (if you don't mind me asking)I was wondering if you were still working on the chronological Bible reading plan that you mentioned a while back?
