Good morning ~ It's bitter out this morning. The feels-like temperatures are in the mid 40s. The wind is roaring too.
It's cold in the house, but I'm resisting turning on the heat. It's too early for heat, lol.

Good morning! 😃
ENT 6 month checkup went well yesterday.
I also stopped by the gym, received clarification about everything, reserved a time to go & work out there at 11 am yesterday and it felt good to be there. I’m comfortable re their method of cleaning, distances between machines, etc
This afternoon is the dentist re the replacement of the partial plate/space maintainer.

It was fairly cool here this morning, but this afternoon is expected to get up to around 90 with a heat index of close to 100.
After today, our area is expected to get a cold wave with most days the rest of this week and early next week only having highs in the 60s and low 70s and nighttime lows in the lower 50s.
I helped my Dad to clean their furnace and change the air filters this morning so that it is ready to go this fall.
After that we mowed their grass and made hot dogs for a quick lunch.

That's one odd weather forecast, Mel! It's rained all day, so far, just cold, medium drops spaced out but falling steadily. I've had a guy calling my phone who's a royal pain in the posterior. He wants to buy a house, but he must know he can't get a loan because he wants a rent-to-own. After I explained a couple of weeks ago that the house he's interested in had expired and the owner decided not to sell it for awhile, he was all bummed out but asked me to call him if it comes back on the market. He's now randomly calling me and saying nothing or hanging up when I answer. Once today he said, 'yehyehyeh' and hung up. I blocked his number. Right away, my phone rang & it was a number I've been getting a lot of calls from that I had assumed were spam calls. But I think now, he's also calling me on his grown son's phone. I blocked it too. People like that are awfully annoying. He wasn't bright enough to figure out that I had his name saved with his number. I'm wishing I'd saved the son's name with the other number, but that was an oversight.
This goofy coonhound, FaithyJ, was pestering me earlier. She thought I had a treat but all I had was a cup of hot coffee. I told her I didn't have anything. She shoved her nose under my arm and jerked upwards just as I picked up my nearly-full cup. Slung coffee allover a third of the desk and onto the floor. She knew she'd goofed up so whirled around and headed across the room to cubby. I told her I didn't appreciate that! Cleaned up the mess and got her a treat, telling her I love her but she can't jerk on my arm like that!

If he starts calling again, maybe you should get an air horn.

Seatbelts are a GOOD thing - definitely! ... I'm certainly glad we had ours on a couple of weeks ago.

Cold, wet & windy, outside ... chilly inside. I put on a fresh pot of coffee about an hour ago, and I'm about to start a pot of soup - blackeyed peas & field snaps with a sliced sausage ring in it. Been a long day of spreadsheet work, but getting nearly finished on this first set, finally. I have to make a summary set to actually send to the person I'm producing it for, but that shouldn't take long. But not till the soup's cooked. Hope you're all doing well.

Good evening,
This morning I worked on the phone & computer, attempting to track down a payment for the auto/house insurance. The check for last month’s payment never cleared the bank. Turns out it’s probably lost in the mail.
I went on line to the company’s website, and eventually figured out my way around on there to make a couple of payments. One was for last month & the other for this month. I also signed up for paperless billing & email alerts when a bill is due.
Afterwards, I started sorting through household paperwork & this months bills. This included going on line for another paperless bill and checking charges, as well as banking.
Finally, I was sorting through the Medicare paperwork! I came to the conclusion that I truly am thankful for the various insurances which cover so much, but I hate the “insurance dance”!
Who reads all that paperwork anyway? CIGNA, Medicare and Tricare4U, they are all ridiculously confusing and frustrating to figure out! Plus even if I actually did, they’d change it again!
Thankful that another aspect of the Blessed Hope we have in Jesus’ return is no insurance in heaven or on the new earth!
This afternoon I had dental appointment re one step closer for a new partial plate or as I call it “my mouth jewelry” . I thank my DH for this particularly piece of “jewelry”, as I do wear it daily! LOL I’m not a jewelry wearing gal.

Totally agree on the insurance - I'm happy we have it, but it would be nice if everything on it were written in user-friendly terms.
I'm sooo looking forward to heaven and the new earth - so many things will be different for the better!
