Those pups are cute - bet they're ornery. I got caught up on the Pathway to Victory/Robert Jeffress sermon that I'd missed because of the John Lewis funeral procession being televised live and lasting such a long time, 7/26/2020. That sermon is finally online, @ ptv.org's website. It's very good. The title is, "How Should We Now Live?" It's the last sermon in the series America and the Bible. I'm very glad to have been able to listen to it before it was moved off the website. See y'all tomorrow!

Okay, well, your results may vary. In SW Okla, it's more like 8 weeks till leaves fall; 12 weeks till crisp mornings; and 16 weeks till Christmas lights glow ... but it was really hot Friday afternoon & a friend and I were daydreaming about what we'd like to see in the next few weeks. She found this picture & it just fit perfectly. Attachment Deleted

Good morning! Today's sermon by Robert Jeffress was "Tip #2: Situational Awareness" from his book Courageous. It was a great companion to the sermon I watched last evening to get caught up, "How Should We Now Live?" This sermon was even more relevant to the current US state of affairs than it was originally back in February. Hope you each and all have a blessed Sunday!

Praying for you, Mel, and your family members; praying for you, Scott, and your family members; praying for you, Jeanette, and your family members. Praying God will keep you each and all free from harm and evil tonight. Praying the same for me and my family members. The amount of hate & anger in our society today is leaving me virtually speechless. I'm so very thankful to know my Creator - Yahweh God, my Savior - Jesus Christ, and my daily empowerer - the Holy Spirit.

Good morning! We had beautiful weather all weekend here, but it looks like we are now headed back into the scorching hot high humidity weather that we had a couple of weeks ago.

I enjoy seeing animals have a good time like that dog is having. May reach 100 here this afternoon. It's definitely predicted to be a muggy day. I'm hoping for a lot of wind this afternoon. Sorted through some family photos yesterday and found one of those small prayer cards that are tucked into funeral programs. I searched cousins' memories this morning till I found out 'who' she was. Her husband and my dad were good friends & had some cousins in common, tho' I don't think they were directly related. The woman was 92 when she passed away in 2008. I vaguely remember her and her husband from my gradeschool days - dad took me with him to visit at their house a few times. The search brought back some good memories. Whoo-hoo! While I was writing that ^^^, I received a phone call supposedly from Social Security. They've suspended my social security number due to suspicious activity. If I wanted to know more about the case, I should press "1". That's the first time I've received a call like that.

If you're a puzzle person, here's a pretty cool one ... Note that some of the pieces are shaped like little animals.

You just need to give them your credit card number to cover the cost of shipping and handling.

I can understand how that ornery girl would be a good suspect for stealing puzzle pieces.
I used to do a puzzle once in awhile, but I haven't in a long time. I enjoy puzzles, but my late-dh found them too tedious, and Sweetie is a lot the same way.
I've been looking for an old friend the past few days. Couldn't find a number for him so I was leaving messages for his brother. My friend finally called me this afternoon. His brother caught up to him at some house he's working on and told him to call me. My friend has colon cancer and that mast metastasized into pancreatic cancer, and he's really battled these illnesses. I wasn't sure he would still be on his feet! He's still his hard charging, forward moving self. It was great to visit with him. He thinks we should meet for lunch next week, and I hope that we do.
