Good morning, Mel! Good morning, Jeanette! It's cool with rain showers expected to arrive soon. We're right on the edge of a large area of rain, in fact the west side of the city may be seeing showers now. At least the rain is expected to be light, even if it lasts all afternoon. Good day to throw on an old sweatshirt, tie up my hair, do some sweeping & mopping. Between 2:15 & 2:30 a.m. last night, someone called the office cell phone that I carry. It woke me up the first time. It was an (888)XXX-XXXX number. I rolled my eyes, silenced the phone and went back to bed. This morning, there were 3 voicemails from someone in a correctional facility wanting our phone to accept a collect call. Oh, no, I don't think I'd have done that even if I'd answered the call at high noon. I am really curious as to 'where' that facility is located and to know whether the caller was associated with our company in any way. I tried googling the county but it did not come up so I'm not spelling it right . The recording sounds like "Bexford County Justice and [garbled word] Center". The mentally ill tenant who'd been wreaking havoc at one of the apartment complexes we manage finally has moved out. His parents and his caseworker got him off the property and to some facility Thursday evening. He would not have likely been our 2:20 a.m. caller, but I did think of him when I listened to the voicemails this morning. I hope everyone has a blessed day today - warm, safe, and dry, and spending time doing something you enjoy. :gropuhug

No need to wear green if I'm not leaving home, eh? I'm tired, and I kinda ache all over, especially my back. I've lugged around large items of bedding - both the comforter for the waterbed, and a load of towels, and then later the big blanket that folds up into the big, soft dog bed. Think I overdid it. Our vet's office sent us a Sympathy card today. It is really touching - and really made me feel better. I appreciate those gals! This was a wet, cold day. I went over to the ranch & home store this afternoon to pick up a couple of jars of honey that Edward really likes & they had on sale. The rain had stopped shortly before I left home but it started up again & didn't slack off till I got back home. I stopped at Aldi's and picked up some snack items - Nita told me they carry a wide variety at better prices than I can find elsewhere in town. Mm, boy, she was certainly right! That's where I picked up turkey tenderloins too, and they had beef country style ribs. I've been looking for those for 6 months! I bought a pack of beautiful ribs - we'll be having those barbecued for Memorial Day. We finished off the Dutch Apple Pie this evening too. Mmm, mmm, good! See y'all tomorrow!

Just a few "fun facts" -- St. Patrick’s Day conjures images of shamrocks, leprechauns, the color green, and other symbols associated with the patron saint of Ireland. And 'why' do leprechauns pinch people? Because they can! If you wear green, the story goes, you're invisible to leprechauns and so you'll escape being pinched. Other traditions connected to St. Patrick’s Day are of the culinary variety that millions of Americans observe. butcherboymarket.com/know-how-articles/st-patricks-day/

Good afternoon. It's a sunny 64 degrees, but breezy so not particularly warm. We fixed scrambled eggs with cheese, and split a half-pound piece of steak fried up with a little salt, pepper, & butter. We split an avocado to go with that, & had some fresh pico de gallo too. It was all delicious. I'm still doing laundry - have another couple of doggy blankets & the Spiderman comforter to wash. It takes awhile to dry bedding so I probably won't get finished today, but I'm happy making progress. Hope you're all having a great day!

I don't usually eat much cold cereal, but today after church I decided to pick up a box of Lucky Charms in honor of St Patrick's Day.

Heh, "snakes", "snacks" . . . You say "po-tay-to", I say "po-taw-to" ... Can you imagine ridding an entire country of snakes? I can't imagine it. I've decided we seriously have a shortage of blankets in this house. It's amazing to me how tough it is to find any decent blankets. I'm going to look everywhere to see if there are any decent blankets for sale. Wal-Mart certainly doesn't have any - and we have almost no place else here locally; maybe JC Penney. I'd like something that's summer weight, something woven with an open sort of weave. I'd like thermal blankets as my second choice. Thermal blankets used to be everywhere, in every size & color you could desire. Now, I haven't seen any in the stores for a number of years. I hate to breakdown and look on Amazon; or go to the westside shopping center and check out Target. Maybe I'll check out the PX at Ft. Sill.

Sweetie talked me into shopping for blankets online. I'm really a dinosaur. I'm not crazy about shopping online. I like to look at merchandise in person, run my hand over the item to see how it feels, you know, that sort of thing. Anyway, I found one that's similar to the lightweight blankets we've had in the past. I ordered 2 - one in teal, and one in skyblue. They'll be here on Wednesday; shipping was free. I hope I'm happy with them! I picked up a couple of Nylabones for Milo & Nikki. We don't mind if they chew on the old sleeper sofa, but we don't want them chewing on other furniture items. They're starting to get it sorted out as to how they're going to share those 2 Nylabones. I'm hoping this will calm down their too rough wrestling. Hope you've each and all enjoyed the day, however you've spent it. I'm heading off to bed - tomorrow is another Monday. See you then!

‘Night or ‘Morning ‘Been working on another photo album for another grand.
Finally finished one & placed the order for two before midnight! I’ve been ordering an album for a grand and later ordering an album for here, but I’ve realized sometimes I am able to order more than one!
I didn’t get any albums done for the last two sales. The sales I like are unlimited extra album pages.
However, it’s a lot of computer work to go through photos, pick out the allowable 1,000. After that part is done, then ‘got to figure out the placements etc. background colors & I’ve discovered frames, to put around pictures. All that takes weeks, as with everything else, I need to take breaks away from the computer …
Today was last minute for the sale, so down to the wire!
Thankfully there were leftovers in the fridge!
Everything else was put on hold, so tomorrow I want to write out bills & Easter cards, as well as start another week of a workout routine!
May you all have restful night and blessed day!
