Good morning! It's currently 64 and windy, heading for a high of 80 this afternoon. Thanking God that your prosthetic works so well for you, Mel. Hoping I can get more done at home this evening - that's the good thing about sunset coming an hour later: I don't feel like folding up and hibernating at 5:30. (Winters are tough on me, really they are. )

S'Mores Peeps - that's cool! I'd try those. Let us know what you think of them. I tried the Dr Pepper Peeps & they had a good flavor, but not strong enough to know it was Dr Pepper.

It's 77, heading for a high in the mid-80s this afternoon. We had a Board of Realtors quarterly meeting to attend this morning. It was a good breakfast meeting. I've been to both section 8 inspections already. And that was good too. I have a contractor going to make a couple of repairs. Now maybe the rest of the afternoon will be quiet. Hope you're all doing well.

Good morning! It is another warm and sunny day here. We are forecast to reach the mid 70s by early this afternoon. All of this nice Springy weather the last few days has inspired me to shave off my beard. Hope you all have a great day!

‘Morning Yes, the nicer sunny weather this week has been inspiring, although DH still has his beard, it won’t be long and he’ll be shaving it off too! I’ve been able to do a little yard work, open windows some …

Good morning!Presently it's 63 and foggy. The fog was really dense at 7:30, but it's beginning to lift. We have a sunny afternoon with a high of 80 expected. I'm actually going to work at 'the regular time' today. In the past two weeks, I've been up & flying out the door because I had some early requirement, but today, I just need to stop in at the bank and run through the water dept's drive-through line and be at work by noon. We have had a mentally ill tenant who has run amok since the first of the year. His mother assured me last night that he is now off the property & will not be back. They have someone supposed to move out his furniture this morning and they're supposed to move his car off the property. I feel sorry for all of them, but he has to get off the property we manage because he's out of control. He's in his early 40s. There just aren't enough resources to really improve mental health of this nation, imo. But we can't give up on individuals. You may have heard about the trans teen who was in a fight in the girls restroom a week or two ago, at a high school here in Oklahoma. The teen wasn't injured, apparently, but died the next day at home. It's been ruled a suicide, finally. This is so sad. That boy made a really pretty girl, but he was a born a boy, nonetheless. The LGBTQ+ supporters wanted this to be a murder case & have any or all of the 3 girls he was fighting with charged. They were in the restroom saying things about him & his friends so he squirted them with water - and the fight was on. The question was 'what caused his death?' Well, now the big push is that he was bullied for years at school & that's what caused his death. They can't face up to the fact that this poor child needed a lot more help than he probably ever got from way back early in his childhood. It's really stirred the pot, all across this state. I'm sad for his mother - haven't seen a dad on tv so not sure there is a dad at home. And I'm sad this kid couldn't find any other way out. I don't want this sort of thing brushed under a rug, but it won't be handled appropriately, more than likely, and we all need to get on with life, so I'm ready for it to stop being front page, top story news. Ok - I'm heading off to find productive things to do with my day and hopefully help some people with their housing needs in the process. Praying everyone who comes by here today is blessed with answers to prayers.

Am I correct that you are referring to the Nex Benedict case? That was a top story in the news here too for several days right after his death, but I hadn't seen any more about it for a few weeks. Cases like this are so sad. I believe that most of these young LGBT suicides could be prevented if the kids were given proper mental and spiritual care rather than having their gender related mental illness enabled. May the Lord have mercy on these deluded children.

The high school is over 100 miles from here & yet our part of the state was all in on protesting, and Unitarian Universalist church held a rally and a memorial service. (I'm pretty much all when the UU's are in the discussion but when they were setting up their memorial service, someone went out behind the church and set fire to their 'blessing box' where people can leave non-perishable food items for those in need. All I could do was and wonder what on earth that act was supposed to accomplish?!? ) There's more to come out on from the autopsy, the drug combination in Nex's bloodstream is the main thing people want to know. Praying in agreement with you, Mel.
