Good morning! Looks like it is going to be another cold day here, but not quite as cold as yesterday.
Edit to add: Our weather forecast is calling for a 70% chance of up to an inch of snow tomorrow.
I made the mistake of stopping at the grocery store this morning to pick up a few things.
The place was packed and the bread shelves and dairy cases were already wiped out.
The way people are acting, you would think that there was a major blizzard expected rather than an inch or less.

Hi, Mel, Scott, Jeanette, Carmen, Cathy, and anyone else who might drop by. How is everyone? We're doing well around our house. Our lawn man came today and did a beautiful job cutting some tree limbs and cleaning up all the piles of leaves. It just gives the property such a "clean" look. I this property.

May and I are just having a lazy evening at home watching the movie "Step Dogs". Is that a good movie? I hadn't heard of it so looked it up on IMDB. It looks cute & fun.
It's really cooling off here and I can't seem to get warm this evening. I'm watching Magnum, P.I. on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. There's a 24-hr Magnum Marathon going on. I've only watched 3 episodes. (not a big TV person, but I am happy to see Magnum joining the HMM lineup)
We've worked at filling up a couple of big trash bags to put out for tomorrow morning's trash run. We did good - tossed some old clothes, & some old mementos. The trash cart is now at the curb.

It's pretty good but kind of goofy.
Basically a dog version of the "Home Alone" series.

BTW, FaithyJ was acting a lot like this cat this evening. She told me at 4:30 that it was her dinner time. Gave me a big grin and bounced around the house, trying to lead me to the laundry room. I told her to wait about an hour. She landed on the doggy futon and slept till almost 7, and then I fed her. She's probably out for the night now. What a diva!

My family could really use prayer right now. We found out yesterday evening that one of my cousins on my Mom's side passed away unexpectedly on Sunday. And then later last night I heard from another cousin on my Dad's side that his wife went to the ER yesterday afternoon not feeling well and was immediately admitted to the hospital for near total kidney failure the cause of which is as yet unknown. They have 2 very young daughters who are understandably not handling Mommy's absence well at all.

Odd how everything seems to happen at once.
