Okay, seriously, I'm going to bed - I have to get up a little earlier in the morning so what am I doing? Sitting here reading Better Homes & Gardens December issue & checking facebook. 'Nite, y'all! Love you guys!

Good morning!
It is a chilly, rainy, foggy 40 degree morning here today. The temperature is expected to drop as the day goes on with snow expected for tonight and tomorrow morning.

Remember that Catholic charity group that keeps sending me Guardian Angel medals? Medal #23 was in the mail today. Still not sending them a donation. It's a test of wills! Medal #24 was in today's mail. Still not making a donation.

I'm in the process of listening my way through a Health Summit on Mitochondria. This is Day 2. This is pretty fascinating stuff!
Yesterday was totally consumed with waiting on the city to come & flush their city sewer line & determine if they have a problem. They do, the man admitted it, but their problem wasn't what was causing our problem. That took a few hours. I then called Service Line Warranties of America, which we do have an exterior sewer line policy with them. They sent a plumbing co who cleared the line, recommended running a camera down it, and said they think our line is separating right near the end where it meets the city line. So ... waiting on the warranty co to get their recommendations and get back with us. I suspect we'll be getting a new sewer line - we'll see.
It was cold, gloomy and we had a roaring wind going on till sundown yesterday. Today, it's sunny, fairly calm, at least in the upper 40s, so not unpleasant. Your weather sounds pitiful, Mel. Your weather for tomorrow doesn't sound like much fun either, Scott. Hope you both stay warm & safe on the roads. Yeh, I know y'all live in "winter country" and that weather is rare here, and for people who love winter, they may be looking forward to snow and more snow, so my view wouldn't make sense to them at all.
I've got to finish this speaker & take a break to pick up the car (in for an oil change); go to the gym; and chop veggies for an eggplant side dish for dinner this evening. See y'all later.

That Guardian Angel thing cracks me up. Several months ago I was watching David Reagan's "Christ in Prophesy." They were offering a DVD that Maria and I both wanted to see. Since it was a collaborative effort with a few other ministries we had to order it from one of the other guys. I eventually did get it but before that I accidentally checked off donation instead of DVD purchase. Since that time we have received sooo much mail from those guys. I wish they would stop. It is costing them far more than they received.

I often wonder how much of the money that is donated to many of these ministries is basically just wasted on promotional materials and "thank you" incentives rather than going for what it was supposedly donated toward.

Good morning! Those 20° temps are coming our way in a few days, maybe. But today, it's 40°, dry & sunny.
Edward dropped off the car to have an alignment so we're running around together this morning.
I had a collection of saints medals & I know I still had them when we moved into town, but I can't find them now. It's just odd.

Silly kitty! She certainly looked patient. Did she enjoy some whipped cream before it was all said & done?
That couch with the lever to pull - and all the cat toys get swept out from under it ... What a great idea! ...
Also that Dogs' Christmas meme.
