love those "Not-Meteorologists" - !! No snow in the forecast here, but we're still about 3 weeks away from the last frost date. Not planting time yet! But soooo many people will plant between now & then .... and then have to start over. We've been sorting out stuff on memory sticks. What a chore! The funniest part of it tho' has been how I've read the firt half of a meme, and - without turning to look - he tells me what the rest of it says.

I didn't sleep too well last night, so I think that I am going to turn in early tonight. Good night!

Good morning, Jeanette! Good morning, Mel! Luv those coats on the saplings! It's 56 at 11 a.m., but it's been raining since a little after 5, and supposed to rain all day. My weather app also shows we have fog moving into the local area, but looking outside, I think the sun is trying to peek through a few open spots in the clouds. We have t'storms expected for the afternoon so I'm going to head out a little early & pick up an Rx for Sweetie. Hopefully the office will be quiet & I can work on leases. Trying to get everyone updated. It would be a good day to cook up chili here too, but I may wait & do that on Sunday. I'd love to see you drop by here and post, Scott! Hope y'all have a great Thursday - stay warm & dry; and if it's snowing at your house, don't hurt yourself shoveling!

We have had rain showers most of the day, and they're cold drops the size of your pinkie fingertip - sometimes falling fast & furious and some of the time, falling slow & spread out. We just took out the trash, from the garage, and then Sweetie dragged a full, heavy trashcart out to the curb. Franny's ashes are back to the vet and I can pick them up tomorrow after work. Makes me happy and sad altogether. I am glad tomorrow is Friday. We have a new soon-to-be-tenant who has been staying at a hotel for an outrageous price. He's going to move into a 1-bedroom apartment that we have available, as soon as he gets the security deposit & rent together. He came by this afternoon and I laid out the amounts he needs. He didn't have it all today, but he hurried up & went back to work - he's a barber - because he had a lot of haircuts to do this afternoon, and he was determined he was earning enough $$ to be able to pay the deposit, sign his lease & be handed a key by tomorrow afternoon. I hope he succeeds. I think he'll be a pretty good tenant. We had an absolute treat for dinner this evening: Baby Bok Choy in a Ginger-Garlic Sauce. It was easy, and once the veggies were chopped or cut, it went pretty fast to cook it up. I'll get it put in the recipe section over the weekend. Well ... I've got to go to bed. See y'all tomorrow.

Good morning! It is 26 degrees here this morning, but the wind makes it feel much colder. The furnace has been running almost nonstop this morning, but it is still a bit chilly in the house. Hope that you all have a great day!

Hi, Mel! Hi, Jeanette! Happy Friday! 1st Friday of Spring. It's chilly and heavily overcast, but it's dry. Supposed to stay dry all day. It's currently 58, but feels like it's 10 degrees colder. Not sure where I've laid my cell - I'm looking at the office cell right now, which show the weather up in one corner of the homescreen. I'll go find my phone once I finish this cup of coffee. Last night, Milo thought there was a mini milkbone on the bookshelf (at his eye level) and nosed around until he'd spilled part of a jar of marbles onto the floor. That was about 12:30 this morning. If I really had dropped a milkbone in that vicinity, I don't think he found it. I hadn't been asleep long, but marbles rolling around certainly woke me. I jumped up and scooped them up in a small box. Sorted that out this morning and hopefully I can find a better way to close that jar - it's a wide-mouth Mason jar with a ring but there's no flat lid for it. If nothing else, I'll rubberband a sandwich bag over it and set it on a high shelf somewhere other than on that short bookcase. Nikki woke me up before daybreak but once all 3 dogs had gone out & come back inside, they were happy to go back to sleep and I was too. Had a couple sad dreams last night, but I don't remember them this morning, just feeling sad and I know it's from whatever I was dreaming. Well, I'd better get ready for work ... Hope you each and all have a great Friday!
