How about these types with Noach and the ark:
The rain began in the 2nd month, 17 day, fell for 40 days (til 3-16) and pravailed for 150 days -- until the 17th day of the 7th month.
And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
Genesis 8:3
In the Old Testament, up through Exodus 12, the first month was Tishre and the seventh was Nisan (these months were 'turned around by God in Exodus 12:2, when He told the Israelites that Nisan would be the first month from then on).
So then, the ark rested on the 17th day of the 7th month -- Nisan 17. Jesus was crucified on Nisan 14th -- the day the Passover Lambs were sacrificed -- and since He was in the belly of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights (Matthew 12:40), then He rose from the dead on Nisan 17th.
After He ascended into Heaven, and poured His blood on the Mercy Seat in Heaven, He sat down (Hebrew 10:12)! The throne of God is on the Mercy seat in Heaven - He came to rest on the Ark of the Covenant in heaven, the same day the Ark of Noach came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.
Then, 40 days later on Sivan 1, the window was opened:
wrote:
And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made and sent forth a raven and a dove.
Genesis 8:6
Compare this to the exact amount of time that Jesus was seen after the resurrection around the environs of Judah and Galilee --
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.
Acts 1:3
…And after those 40 days, a 'window' in Heaven was opened to receive the risen Saviour, who would not be seen on the earth again until after 2000 years (possibly typified by the 2 weeks between when the raven left and Noach left the ark).
Then. 1 week later, on Sivan 8 -- the dove was sent again and brought back the sign of peace - an olive branch!
And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; and the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
Genesis 8:10-11
In 31 AD, when Jesus was crucified, Nisan 14th was a Wednesday, so then, First
Fruits was as the sun set on the 17th... and when you count fifty days from First Fruits, -- you end up at Sivan 8th... the Day of Shavuot (Pentecost), when God sent the 'dove' of the Holy Spirit as a sign to show that there was peace between God and man!
