I could smell cat stuff all day long but couldn't find it. I Febrezed the whole house and it was still bad enough to gag a maggot. When Maria came home first thing she said was, "What stinks in here?" Well, she found it. Two feet from the litterbox on the CARPETED step going into the cellar. Stupid cat! They say that dogs are stupid but I never had one that missed the paper. I think the cat was mad because I don't jump up and feed him every time he meows. Just wait and see what happens tomorrow, dummy!

Good morning, Jeanette, Mel, and Scott . . . Hope you're checking in occasionally, Carmen!
Hope your daughter had a great birthday, Jeanette! Is it hard to believe that she's in her 40s now?
It was all of 47 degrees here at 9 a.m. this morning. That was chilly, especially with all the rainwater setting around. Only supposed to reach the low 60s today. I like that idea of Halloween decorations being those cobwebs and dust. That's one thing I'm doing this morning - soon as I finish this spreadsheet for an investor - sweeping the whole house, plus laundry room & the mud room. And then, I'd dusting the place with diatomaceous earth to dry out the spiders & other bugs that have been swarming around with this tropical humidity & the rain. No bugs allowed in the house! My relatives in Florida (Pensacola & its suburbs) have decided to shelter in place. They think the storm will stay east of them. Okay, their choice. I hope they are right.
Later: My friends in Georgia are holed up at home, and posted an hour ago that the power had just gone out, and they were afraid the roof was coming off. I'm praying this storm gets on up off of them soon!

I'm back from the doctor. My triglycerides are way down, blood pressure way down, bad cholesterol way down (over 100 points!) good cholesterol way up. My blood sugar is still too high but that is not due to poor diet so we're working on that. Still, it is very much better with no insulin than it was when taking 200+ units per day. Weight loss--51 pounds since May 30. I like my scale a whole lot better than I like his but I'll take that!

Good morning, and Happy Friday ~
Jeanette, are you getting the remains of Hurricane Michael? I'm not hearing any more about it, but have some facebook friends in NC who are without power this morning.
It's raining here this morning, but it's not as cold as the last couple of mornings. The dogs are not liking this rain, however. Especially the fact they're able to see & hear a far off t'storm.
