Police in a city outside of Pittsburgh are searching for a pet python that was reported missing Thursday. The Duquesne police chief told sister station WTAE that the snake's owner took it for a walk Wednesday afternoon when the reptile got away from him. Police say the python is five to seven feet long. www.wgal.com/article/python-on-the-loose-in-duquesne/40993913

Yeh, I'm just not a snake fan. I wouldn't want that python hurt, but I don't want it to hurt anyone or thing either. I'm not convinced snakes should be kept in captivity by individual citizens.

I'm wondering how exactly someone takes a large snake for a walk. Was it on a leash or some kind of harness?
