That's not art. That's garbage tossed irresponsibly on the ceiling, & it happened to stick. (My boys & their friends would have been on a ladder washing that ceiling after a lecture on 'the uses of food' and 'treating property appropriately'.) As for someone paying over $6k for that, and then having to buy a cheeseburger to get the instructions for how to recreate that 'piece of art' on a ceiling of their choosing ... I didn't read the article but I'm going back to do that. I would hope that money is at least being given to the Ronald McDonald House charity. If it simply goes into somebody's pocket, that's a shame. And it just shows how little sense the buyer has. ^^^ That's not a rant, btw, it's a review, as I'd write in an art appreciation class (I've had one, and besides studying the old masters, we also studied a bunch of modern art such as this. I was rarely impressed. ) edited to add: the article doesn't give much information.
