Heinz has decided to come up with a new way to hold it's world-famous tomato ketchup. The multi-billion dollar company has developed a sustainable paper packing for its condiments. The plastic ketchup bottle may soon be a thing of the past as more and more company are making decisions which could help save the planet. The new paper bottle is made from 100% sustainably-sourced wood pulp, reported Grocery Gazette. They have worked with sustainable packing company Pulpex and Heinz have declared that is is “the first sauce brand to test the potential of Pulpex’s sustainable paper bottle packaging.” Kraft Heinz Company owns Heinz and is currently working towards many environmental goals. www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/uk-news/heinz-creates-new-paper-ketchup-23948450

Generally, I don't eat ketchup because of the high fructose corn syrup, and I don't do well with processed tomatoes. Having said that, I have to say this is a really cute ketchup package. I hope to see this on the grocery shelf soon because I want to pick it up and see how sturdy it feels.
