WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court has stopped the Biden administration from enforcing a requirement that employees at large businesses be vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo weekly testing and wear a mask on the job. At the same time, the court is allowing the administration to proceed with a vaccine mandate for most health care workers in the U.S. The court's conservative majority concluded the administration overstepped its authority by seeking to impose the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's vaccine-or-test rule on U.S. businesses with at least 100 employees. More than 80 million people would have been affected. www.yahoo.com/news/supreme-court-halts-covid-19-193050385.html

Thankful However, it’s still being left up to employers to decided in favor of these mandates to get the jab or lose job. So, control continues :-X

Control continues, but this is at least a "win" in that it took the Feds out of the control game. For that I am thankful, even if it's a small thing.

Have you seen the article going around the conservative news sites about how Hershey is firing employees who are not vaxxed, and on the way out the door they're asking them to sign a 9-pg document in which it's laid out that they will agree not to talk about their dismissal and they will not sue. For doing that they're getting some amount of money. Some are getting as much as 2 month's pay. - ?? That ^^^ is one of the worst I've heard. I really feel for their employees who find themselves between a rock & a hard place. I've never liked Hershey's chocolate bars. Of course, I eat so few chocolate bars that I'm not keeping anybody in business so if I research what else Hershey might sell & I don't buy that, it's unlikely to hurt their bottom line.

I did see that about Hershey. It is ridiculous how so many of these big companies are treating their workers. The fact that they want the fired workers to sign such an agreement just shows that they know they are in the wrong. If the vaccine is so great, then the unvaxxed would pose no threat to the rest of their coworkers anyway.
