Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak
"This is the juiciest and most tender steak we've ever made in our kitchen. This is our new favorite."
Ingredients:
1.5 lb Skirt Steak, trimmed and cut into 4 pieces Kosher Salt Freshly Ground Black Pepper 2 Tbsp your favorite Cooking Oil 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic (jarred garlic works well) 4-5 Tbsp Butter
Instructions:
1. Pat the steak dry and season generously on both sides with salt and pepper. In a heavy duty 12-in skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until shimmering hot. Add the steak and brown well on both sides, 2-3 minutes per side for medium rare. *Recommend cutting a piece of steak in half to check the done-ness. Cook a few added minutes if necessary to suit your tastes.
2. In an 8-in skillet, melt the butter over low heat. Add the garlic and cook, swirling the pan frequently, until lightly golden, about 4 minutes.
3. Serve the steak and make the garlic butter available to spoon over the steak as desired.
