INGREDIENTS:
3 cups Corn Chex cereal 3 cups Rice Chex cereal 2 cups Wheat Chex cereal 2 cups bagel chips 1 cup pretzel sticks 1 cup cashew pieces 6 tablespoons butter, melted 1 (1 ounce) package dry Ranch seasoning 1 tbsp dill pickle juice 1 tbsp dried dill 1 tsp garlic powder
DIRECTIONS:
Combine Chex cereal, bagel chips, pretzel sticks, and cashews in a large mixing bowl
In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, dry ranch seasoning mix, dill pickle juice, dried dill, and garlic powder
Pour the butter mixture over the Chex cereal mixture and gently toss to make sure all the ingredients are coated Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet
Bake in oven at 250F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes
Transfer to parchment paper or aluminum foil to cool
Cool completely before serving
Alternate Suggestions:
Substitute cocktail peanuts for cashews and/or Cheezit crackers for bagel chips

Have you, or somebody you know, made this Chex mix? It sounds like it might have a strong taste - due to the dry Ranch seasoning, so I'm curious. I do like the dill pickle taste. Does this actually have Corn Chex in it twice, or is that second one Wheat Chex? Just curious. Wow! I'm curious about this whole recipe because I might want to make it.

I haven't tried it yet, but I want to soon.
One of my friends posted this recipe on Facebook today.
And yes, that second corn Chex was a typo which I have now fixed.

Thanks! I may pick up the ingredients at this end of this week coming up & make it next weekend. I have a fresh jar of dill pickles I haven't opened up yet ....

Well, I wasn't thinking - I can't use Corn Chex (Edward is allergic to cor). Chex of any composition is really high-priced, so I gave up.
