One Tennessee preacher is imposing a mask mandate of his own - he's requiring his entire congregation to go maskless or be kicked out of service. According to news outlet Lexington Herald, pastor Greg Locke told churchgoers at his Nashville-based Global Vision Bible Church that they would not be allowed to attend service if they turn up wearing face coverings. "You start showing up (with) all these masks and all this nonsense, I will ask you to leave," Locke told his congregation during his Sunday sermon on July 25. "I am not playing these Democrat games up in this church." www.yahoo.com/news/tennessee-pastor-threatened-kick-mask-032548354.html

I'm against requiring mandatory masks for everyone, but in my opinion this pastor is going too far in the other direction by not allowing those who want to mask to do so.

True freedom means a person gets to do it their way, so long as that doesn't hurt anyone. So - people who feel more comfortable or protected by wearing masks should be just as welcomed and a part of a church as all of those who want to go maskless. A person who wants to get vaxxed should have that choice just as those who do not want to take the jab should not be forced to by government or private employer mandate. _______________ Heh, I'd have quite likely left Greg Locke's church a long time ago. Can't quite put my finger on it - I don't know much about him, but every time I've heard his name in the past few years, it's been connected to something that I've considered to be wrong or at least annoying.
