The mayor of Los Angeles has issued a stay-at-home order, banning “all forms of travel.”
“My message couldn’t be simpler,” said Eric Garcetti, the Democratic LA mayor. “It’s time to hunker down. It’s time to cancel everything. And if it isn’t essential, don’t do it.”
LA residents were notified of the order last week, CBN News reports.
“All travel, including, without limitation, travel on foot, bicycle, scooter, motorcycle, automobile, or public transit is prohibited,” read his office’s latest dictate.
In a tweet, Garcetti said he hopes vaccines will bring an end to the pandemic.
