I never would have been able to guess if I hadn't seen him in a commercial today. I never watch Jeopardy. I'll dig someone up in a while.

She's certainly a beauty! Have to follow your clues - not my opinion that she looks like a hearty Swede! I'll see if I can find her afterwhile.

This is a riot! I googled your clue "the Imelda Marcos of Argentina" and several articles came up. I read through the titles and found this one, 3rd down in the list: FILIPINO `EVITA` STRIKES RESPONSIVE CHORDMay 19, 1986 - As long as Imelda Marcos was around, no one in the Philippines dared ... the vain, conniving and corrupt wife of Argentine dictator Juan Peron, ... Ahahaha I guessed that must be the answer. Opened up the article & read the beginning of it: This is Eva Peron, isn't it? This was a really fun one, Scott!

Now that's funny. I came up with "the Imelda Marcos of Argentina" on my own. Knowing the history of the two ladies made it a no brainer. I had no idea, though I suppose I should have, that others already made the comparison. Yes, This is Eva Peron.

This man worked largely behind the scenes, sometimes as a star double and other times as the most talented & fearless vehicle driver ever. His storied career in TV & films was approximately 40 years, winning him some worthy honors.

Yes. He was a pro baseball player - a pitcher, until a rotator cuff injury ended that career.

This young man grew up to be a very popular but controversial religious leader.

Didn't find this posted photo, but found a young man who looks similar in facial features:
So I'm going to guess our controversial religious leader might be Jack Van Impe - ?

No, not Jack Van Impe.
Van Impe did once challenge our mystery man to a debate, but the challenge was not accepted.
