Bernie must have been about 20 in that picture. I had a really young picture of Bernie being arrested in some protest march and he looked about like this.

This gal was an American actress who won at least a couple of supporting actress awards for work done in TV and film in the late 1960s-early 1970s and was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award in 1969, but did not win.
She dropped out of the Hollywood scene soon after, as she had tired of fame & constant remarks about her appearance, which was unconventional by Hollywood standards.

Catherine Burns?

Yes, Catherine Burns. I've not seen the film for which she received the Oscar nomination; she lost to Goldie Hawn. What struck me about her was that she had such talent, but was so uncomfortable in social situations that she basically disappeared from sight for nearly 50 years. She passed away in 2019.

I haven't seen it either but my sister did. She was very disturbed by one particular line (not being repeated here) for several years. Isn't this the movie where one particular off screen incident prompted Barbara Hershey to change her name to Barbara Seagull? She has since changed it back. edit to add: I looked it up. This is that movie.
I'll think of a new person in awhile.

Comedic actor very popular in the 30s - 40s. Had a cameo in 1963's "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. "

Is this Joe E. Brown? I'm watching What's My Line with Joe E. Brown's January 11, 1954 appearance.
