The St. Paul, Minn., city council adopted a controversial resolution this week declaring March 10 as Abortion Providers Appreciation Day and celebrating the “courage” and “dedication” of abortion doctors. It passed, 7-0.
The resolution memorializes abortion doctor David Gunn, who was shot and killed on March 10, 1993. March 10 was set aside this year “to show appreciation for the high-quality care that abortion providers and clinic staff provide, and to celebrate their courage, compassion, and dedication to their work.”
Abortion providers are an “essential and valued part of Saint Paul’s health care,” the resolution says.
“The Saint Paul City Council recognizes March 10, 2020, as Abortion Providers Appreciation Day to honor Dr. Gunn’s memory, to combat the stigma that many abortion providers and clinic staff face, and to celebrate the courage, compassion, and high-quality care they provide,” the resolution says.

Does no one on that city council have 2 working brain cells? Is there not even one bibically-minded council member there? Are the citizens of St Paul awake and paying attention to what their mayor and council members are doing?
I'm all but speechless. How can they vote - unanimously, no less! - to celebrate killing unborn babies? These are our children, our future! This mayor & these council members are but grass blowing in the wind. Their time on this earth is limited - they are not using it well.

Abortion Doctors Are 'Superheroes,' Pro-Choicers Say on 'Day of Appreciation'
The mayor of Minneapolis joined St. Paul in naming Tuesday “Abortion Provider Appreciation Day,” while pro-choice groups and leaders across the country celebrated abortion doctors as “superheroes.”
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, a Democrat, named March 10 Abortion Provider Appreciation Day and applauded the work of a local provider, Whole Woman’s Health.
“Every day, abortion providers like Whole Woman’s Health deliver high-quality care in the face of harassment and threats to abortion access at the federal and local levels,” Frey told the local CBS affiliate. “I’m proud to recognize today as Abortion Provider Appreciation Day to celebrate Whole Woman’s Health as an essential part of our community.”
“Happy Abortion Provider Appreciation Day to all those who enable women to control their own destinies! You are all real live superheroes. #CelebrateAbortionProviders,” tweeted Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. Accompanying Hogue’s tweet was a gif of DC Comics superheroes.
The pro-choice Lilith Fund tweeted a gif of a colorful cartoon version of Wonder Woman flying under the message, “Actual footage of an abortion provider going to work. #CelebrateAbortionProviders.”

I'm beginning to wonder if we should continue praying for God's mercy on our nation, or if it would be better to start praying for His judgement to fall and fall hard in the hope that at least a few of these people could be driven to repentance.
Edit to add: No, I don't really want to see judgement fall on our people like that, but I get so frustrated with the way the life of an innocent child is treated as so cheap and disposable while open evil is praised and even celebrated.

Judgment will fall hard on many when they die, having repeatedly ignored the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, even thumbing their noses at God by the nature of the choices after having been told however many times about God, Jesus, salvation, heaven, hell, and the Bible.
I don't believe we need to pray for it to happen.
I would not be surprised to walk through the homes of the pro-choice, and the whole LGBTQ+ crowd - just to throw them in, and find multiple copies of the Bible and the New Testament.
