At the moment, I can't figure out how to send the photos on my cell phone to my gmail acct. (Its a l8ng story.)
So I thought I would post a photo that's on my phone to a post I want to make in the chat thread. I can't find anything on screen that will let me add an attachment.
Is it possible?

I'm not sure if there is a way to do that. When I need to use a picture from my phone, I connect the phone to my laptop by USB cable and transfer the photo file from the phone to the computer that way. the screen on my phone is way too small to even attempt to use its built in web browser on the message board.

When I need to use a picture from my phone, I connect the phone to my laptop by USB cable and transfer the photo file from the phone to the computer that way. That's how I've always moved photos from my phone to my PC, until recently. These days, I'm getting a message that reads:
USB Device Not Recognized One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it.
Recommendation: Try reconnecting the device. If Windows still does not recognize it, replace the device. I've tried different USB cables; I've tried every computer in the house (3) plus Sweetie's laptop. We get the same message everywhere. We tried both computers at the office, and the same message pops up.
I know my phone is old ... It's a Samsung Galaxy S5. I know I'm using a Windows version that will no longer be supported in early 2020 (Windows 7). I don't know if either of those things are part of the problem. I went to our favorite US Cellular store and they got the same message when they tried transferring photos too. They told me to send them to my gmail account that's linked to the phone. I thought I knew how to do that, but I don't. Guess I'll go back to US Cellular and ask for more help.

Oh, btw, I've found a quick way to solve my frustrations. I can access my main email account on my phone (a GoDaddy account, not gmail). I attach the photo in an email & send it to myself. Then I download it on my PC desktop and attach it wherever I'd like. It's not as klutzy as it might sound.
