A shooter opened fire on the campus of a California public high school before classes started Thursday morning, injuring at least five people, including two critically, police said. Authorities launched a massive manhunt for the shooter – reportedly a 15-year-old boy – following the gunfire at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita just before 8 a.m. Saugus High School in Santa Clarita just before 8 a.m. About an hour after the shooting, authorities said they had located the suspected and that he was dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, NBC News reported. Several victims were wheeled out on stretchers after the shooting at the 2,300-student school about 30 miles away from Los Angeles.
