I would urge caution on this one. I have not read this particular book, but the author Dr. Michael Brown is a major player in both the "Word of Faith" movement and the extreme charismatic "Latter Rain" movement. He is also considered to be both an apostle and a prophet by prominent members of the "New Apostolic Reformation" though he himself publicly denies that the NAR actually exists.
He has produced some really good Christian books and articles over the years, but he has also produced quite a few others that could be described as borderline heresy at best. He is also very much a "signs and wonders" type of preacher who tends to see demons hiding behind every tree and rock.
Unlike most of the other major "Word of Faith" preachers, I do believe that Dr Brown is most likely a genuine Christian believer and is 100% sincere in his beliefs and teachings, but he is sincerely wrong on many things.

I wondered about him. It's good to know what sort of person he is. Yeh, when I hear Rick Joyner's name, and Latter Rain Movement, I feel like I'm hearing fingernails scraping down a chalkboard. I read up a lot on those things about 10 years ago, saw some of this moving in at a church we were attending at the time.
