An influx of dragonflies are swarming parts of the U.S. at such an intense pace they are being picked up on radars across three states, according to the National Weather Service.

Massive amounts of dragonflies were spotted in Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania on Tuesday, the weather service in Cleveland said.

We've had a lot more dragonflies than usual flitting around the backyard this summer. No idea why. A relative in central WV put up a screenshot of a swarm of dragonflies across their yard a few days ago.
