While Poland held its first-ever LGBT Pride March on Aug. 10 in Płock, 15-year-old Jakub Baryła held a crucifix and rosary in his hands. Baryła stood before LGBT supporters and police during the march, holding high a crucifix and rosary. He said the the late Fr. Ignacy Skorupko was the inspiration behind his actions. Fr. Skorupko is said to have held a cross “during the Warsaw battle with the Bolsheviks in 1920.” Police eventually removed Baryła from the march. churchpop.com/2019/08/13/15-year-old-blocks-lgbt-pride-march-in-poland-with-crucifix-rosary-video-inside/

The video of Baryla's involvement in the march is a good watch. He was brave. He admitted he almost didn't do this, but once he saw that the Black Madonna had been profaned by the addition of a rainbow halo, along with a rainbow halo on the Baby Jesus she's holding, he felt committed. One good thing, Poland has laws that were in Baryla's favor. I'm not sure he'd have fared as well in the United States!, sadly. "Offending religious sensibilities is a crime in Poland ― appearing in Article 196 of the penal code ― akin to disrupting the peace. Punishments can range from paying a fine, some limitation of liberty, or up to two years imprisonment." <-- that from an article cited in the article about Baryla. www.lifesitenews.com/news/polish-police-arrest-woman-for-defacing-famous-black-madonna-with-lgbt-rainbow
