One tenant showed up in court & made a payment arrangement, the other did not.

I'm just having a quiet evening at home doing the laundry, and drinking a cup of Lemon Ginger Tea. ☕ According to our 10 day weather forecast, tomorrow is expected to be the last of the unseasonably warm weather that we have had for the last few days, and by the weekend our weather will be downright cold again.

Good morning! It's 70 and heavily overcast. We had storms till after midnight last night, one after another. Fortunately, right here, we didn't have hail & high winds. To the west and southwest there were tornadoes that crawled all over 4 counties for hours. Trust me, we had a couple of young meteorologists who were scared & thrilled at the same time for a couple of hours last night. I haven't seen a damage report yet so I'm guessing a lot of the activity happened over open fields. We have the same forecast for this evening as we had last evening. More of the same ^^^, in other words, but a little further north (i.e., possibly directly across our area) and with the potential for baseball-sized hail. I am praying we will not have hail damage here or out in the mountains. It's hard to believe today is the 1st of May! This year is going by too fast! Hope you all have a great day today, whatever the forecast in your locale! Thankful God is still on His throne!

My supper this evening is going to be beef tips in gravy and roasted redskin potatoes.

It's sticky warm this evening. Our house passed the section 8 inspection this afternoon and both us and our tenants are thrilled. I'm cooking up a steak to split with Edward and we're finishing off the kimchi fried rice. I'm going to have a side salad too, but don't know whether Sweetie will be in the mood for salad or not. The storms are just across the Texas state line, due west. They're not expected here until late evening. Hopefully I'll get a load of laundry washed before it rains - not that I'm hanging out towels, but I don't like using electrical devices when it's storming. Hope y'all have been enjoying this spring day.

Good morning! It is a sunny 74 degrees here this morning. The pollen count is awful here today. The top of my red car looks yellow, and my allergies are really stirred up. I got groceries and a few other things that I needed from Walmart, and now I plan to stay indoors for the rest of the day. My yard really needs mowed badly, but I don't want to be outside working when the air quality is so bad. There is rain in our weather forecast for every day between Friday and Tuesday, so hopefully that will clear most of the pollen and dust from the air. Hope that you all have a great day!

Good morning! It's a partly sunny 66 degrees this morning. We had pouring rain until around 3 a.m. I could still see lightning in the east, but it was off of the top of us. Hope you get some relief on your allergies, Mel. Hope you're doing well, Jeanette. No idea how many inches of rain fell last night, but I hope there's a report on the 6 o'clock news this evening. It had to be several inches. It filled the old pool up to the bottom step. The frogs are loving it, but not so much the hounds. Leela was brave enough to walk in the very shallowest part, next to the steps. Milo was super frustrated but finally waded down into the water and went as deep as his shoulders. He tried walking along some concrete that slopes, but when one hind foot slipped into the water & he realized he wasn't touching the bottom, it scared him. I coaxed him into backing up until he could get his feet under him. He stayed glued to the sidewall and walked back into the shallows. He may get brave enough to try swimming but it may be later today before he does. We've had dogs over the years who've been excellent swimmers and enjoyed every minute of being in the water (Franny, Ge'Dogg, Houston D Hound Dog), and other dogs, like FaithyJ, who simply stayed totally out of the water, had no interest at all. More rain in the forecast for the next 5 days, but the severe weather is listed as 'marginal'. We may have quarter-sized hail this evening and 60 mph winds, but that's not too bad on windspeed. We've got a tenant with a patio roof that's sagging and I don't know that we can get anything done for it before this rain all gets out of here, but we'll see. I'm ready for a dry summer, believe me. Hope you all have a great Thursday!

My Samsung Android cell phone updated this week. For some unknown reason, writing out a text message is the only thing I can now do on the phone that requires using the keyboard. I can get to fb and read things, and I can click the button to express how I feel about what I read, but I can't post anything - no good morning remarks to friends, no comments on threads. I also can't type an address in the URL line. That means I can't type in pr and have prophecyfellowshipii.freeforums.net pop right up like normal. I'm really frustrated. I suppose I'll have to go by US Cellular and see if they can figure out what's going on, and maybe they can fix it for me. I've looked all through the settings and I don't see anything that clues me in as to why this is going on. I am thankful I could send text messages, but beyond that, I felt pretty cut off all day today. And then, to add mega-insult to injury, I asked the top tech guy I know for help and he basically spit venom about how he can't understand the way I do anything on my phone, he certainly doesn't do anything like that, and he avoids using the landing page I use, so he has no idea. I'm not okay this evening. That's about all I can say. Maybe going to US Cellular tomorrow will help, as far as fixing the phone goes.

Good morning! It is 60 degrees and sunny here this morning, but heavy rain is expected from late this evening and continuing throughout the whole weekend. It is another day of really bad air quality here this morning. Hopefully the rain that is forecast for later will help with that. I decided to get a breakfast pizza from Sheetz for something different for breakfast this morning. Barb, I hope that you get your phone issues sorted out without too much additional aggravation. Praying for all needs today. Hope that you all have a great day!
