New York would become the first city to pay for abortions through direct funding if the city council approves a $250,000 proposed allocation to the New York Abortion Access Fund. “This initiative not only makes New York the first city in the nation to directly fund abortion services, but also lets any American who is facing increasing abortion restrictions in their home state know that they can come and get the services they need in the Five Boroughs,” Councilwoman Carlina Rivera said in a statement, according to the New York Post. “This fund is just another signal, another example of how New York State and New York City has to be that leader on this issue.”

More and more lately, the news from certain states is causing me to wonder about something rather disturbing.
Is it possible that the more liberal elements in US government are not just deceived? Could it be that at least some of them are actually deliberately choosing to serve the evil one rather than God?
Isaiah 59:7 comes to mind. “Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.”

Isaiah 59:7 comes to mind. “Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.” I think it's a very plausible possibility. Also, if the electoral college is abolished, NY and California become far more powerful as states having a say in American federal government. ^^^ This sort of stuff really motivates me to pray for the rapture, even more than I ever have before. That sort of stuff ^^^ also motivates me to discuss Jesus Christ as the One and Only Messiah with friends and family who I suspect are not saved, and probably know little about God's Word. (Of course, once they blow me off and tell me how they don't believe any of that "God stuff" or "heaven stuff", or worse yet, that they do know at least some things of God and Jesus and the Bible and they don't want it, I knock the dust off my boots and move on. [I'll be the first to admit, I need to be doing far more of this than I am.]
