RABAT (Reuters) - Pope Francis told the tiny Catholic community in predominantly Muslim Morocco on Sunday that their mission was not to covert their neighbors but to live in brotherhood with other faiths. Francis has used his two-day trip to stress inter-faith dialogue. He has also backed Moroccan King Mohammed VI's efforts to spread a form of Islam that promotes inter-religious dialogue and rejects violence in God's name.
Conservative Catholics have criticized the pope's opposition to organized or aggressive recruiting of potential converts.

The pope is not in favor of converting Muslims to Catholicism, because he appears to be in league with the Muslims, per this article Islamic Prayers to be Held at the Vatican, reported on 6 June 2014 english.alarabiya.net/en/News/middle-east/2014/06/06/Islamic-prayers-to-be-held-at-the-Vatican.htmlIn looking for that ^^^, I find the links between the pope and Muslims that have continued. There are even articles in metroames' list of articles over the past 3 or 4 days that show ties between the Vatican and Islam.
