Does anyone besides me a Bible Study Software application? I have used several such applications since the middle 1990's.
Of the applications I use now two have gone belly up.
1. Bible Works quit last June. No further development will be forthcoming.
2. Lifeway sold WordSearch to FaithLife who publish Logos. FaithLife will not be supporting WordSearch. They offer an upgrade to Logos. I really don't like Logos. That is why I bought Bible Works.
As long as my present machine runs, these two applications will continue to run. But when that ceases, I shall have new decisions to make.
Any recommendations?

The free version of Logos is the only real Bible study software that is installed on my current laptop as far as commentaries and such. I don't use it much though as I prefer to use physical books for study and research and my church has an excellent lending library on top of the piles of books that I have personally accumulated over the last few decades.
For just reading the Bible and Daily Devotional type reading, I have the Youversion Bible app on my phone and tablet. It doesn't have any commentaries or study aides as such, but is great for comparing different translations of the Bible.

Thanks.
The Lord has granted me a rather large print library including most exegetical aids found in many preacher's libraries. I am not entirely dependent on software. I write articles and commentaries and use Bible software to copy clip Scripture passages into MS Word. It's pretty convenient. Most of my Bible study is done with books and 3-ring binders for notes.
Bible Works has a nice array of exegetical tools and was less expensive than the Logos package at the same level. On my Android tablet I have the Olive Tree Bible Reader which I take to Meetings to keep from lugging a bag of books. Having all of the texts I may need on one device is pretty useful.

Accordance Bible Software is now available for MS Windows. Formerly Accordance ran exclusively on Apple Macintosh operating systems. Accordance offers a few academic packages, one which seems to suit my requirement. I am budgeting to acquire a new Windows 11 system and also an Accordance package to run on it.
