Is this Bork? My knowledge of the Saturday night massacre is very limited. I was in Germany at the time and Stars and Stripes could hardly be accused of in depth reporting.

Yep - this is Robert Bork. From Wikipedia: Watergate has always fascinated me.

German film maker/director. Propaganda at it's best...or worst!

Did she act in silent films before getting into making films? I'm trying to place her era - tho' I'm guessing she was probably a Nazi sympathizer. That's a cute Olympic rings choker she's wearing.

Leni Riefenstahl. What a career and life she had! This is a good article on her ... chilling in some ways. encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/leni-riefenstahlShe died of cancer in Germany on September 8, 2003, just a few short weeks after her 101st birthday. Although she was very successful in filmmaking and photography, she never quite escaped her association with Hitler, the Nazis, and the propaganda films.

She was the girlfriend of a brutal dictator for nearly 15 years, and then finally became his wife for a few hours.

Our mystery lady was doing a dance in blackface as a tribute to Al Jolson, whom she greatly admired, in part because of his Jewish heritage.
When not celebrating Al Jolson, she more typically looked this way:

In more recent years, it's been believed, from DNA studies, that our lady may have had Jewish ancestry herself. The man she married had her family vetted for the possibility before he became greatly involved with her, but at the time, there was nothing to indicate she came from Jewish stock.
She was an accomplished swimmer and skier. She was also a photographer. Most of the color photos and films of her famous husband were taken and produced by her.

With everything else that I have had going on the last few days, I almost forgot that it was my turn to post someone. This lady was a popular entertainer in the late 19th and very early 20th centuries:

I immediately thought of Annie Oakley, Calamity Jane, and Belle Starr but Annie was probably the only entertainer in the bunch, having worked Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. I didn't find the photo you posted, but Annie lived to be 66, so I'm guessing this is Annie Oakley with a little age on her.

The picture is from an occasion in 1922 when at age 62 she hit 100 clay targets in a row from 16 yards during a shooting contest in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
