Well, if I'm going somewhere that I expect to make a purchase with cash, I make sure I have $1.00's worth of change in my wallet in pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.

One of the gals at the bank I bank with was on the 6 p.m. news last week and she said they're having no coin shortage at that bank. She said they are doing business as usual with their local small business customers who come by to pick up coins for their registers. She shrugged and shook her head.

There are a few businesses in town that are refusing to give people change. Local residents are furious. They're sharing their opinions all over facebook & encouraging boycotting those businesses. One nationwide pizza chain is refusing to accept cash at all. I no longer go out for pizza so I'm already no longer a customer of theirs. ;o)
