This is a basic article by Steve Bryant, the Patriot Authority guy who shamelessly markets books full of survival info. It's a bit interesting - worth the quick read.
I hadn't thought about all the things we keep handy to repair all the things that can break in the house, car, on the job, etc. in a really long time. And, yes, we do have many (most) of these items in 2 or 3 locations, in small tool kits or the kitchen junk drawer. I need to toss my multi-tool back in the middle pocket on my purse. I took it out because it's not permitted inside the country courthouse.
An EDCRK, by the way, is an "Every Day Carry Repair Kit".
