So easy, you don't really need a recipe - except to jog your memory so you can repeat the action another day. Steak prepared this way is tender and delicious!
A 6-oz sirloin steak for each person you're serving.
Freshly ground pepper
Freshly ground Himalayan pink salt or sea salt
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Do not open the door until the oven is heated and you're ready to insert your steaks.
2. Arrange the steaks in a metal baking pan. Poke the top side of each steak with a knife or fork. Season the top side of each steak with freshly ground pepper, freshly ground Himalayan pink salt or sea salt. Sprinkle each top side with garlic powder.
3. Roast the steaks for 15 minutes and then check for doneness. They will still be rare to medium-rare at this point, but you begin to get an idea for how much longer they wil need to bake. Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, depending on the amount of internal 'pink' desired by each person you are serving.
4. Serve the steaks and enjoy!
