Y'all definitely need a change of governor & legislators. Sad to say, Governor Wolf's current term runs to January 2023, so we're stuck with him for now, but there is a chance that most of the other problem officials could be voted out in this upcoming election. Most PA counties tend to lean heavily Blue in elections, but there is enough anger over the handling of the Covid-19 situation and a few other things that I am cautiously hopeful for at least some degree of shift toward the red. Of course, it would suit me just fine if we were out of here before the election.

Oklahoma has been pretty solidly red for many years ... we've had a Lieutenant Gov switch her party affiliation to red and then was elected & served 2 terms as governor. She was pretty flaky after the start of the 2nd term and so not as liked or trusted any more. We had a local legislator who switched her party affiliation also after she lost her first election attempt. She was a beloved school teacher who'd also served as a principal, and she was shocked she didn't win by a landslide. Once she changed her party affiliation to red, she did win by a landslide so she learned a lot and behaved accordingly for a couple of terms. Y'know, I'd never thought about it until the end of your post above, but if the rapture happens before the election, I believe many Okies will be taken up, along with at least our county sheriff & 2 more sheriffs around us and their families; our mayor & 4 generations of his family; our governor & his family, and most of our state legislators & their families, and the federal Senator & his family in our area, as well as our Representative & his family; and quite likely our President & his family. ... I'm beaming at the list of people that have passed through my head - and that's before I ever add in family & friends. Yes, Edward & I are right there with you - we'd be thrilled to be out of here before the election. DS & L and the grands too. Sad thing, truly, are the cousins and friends who are not believers; who pooh-pooh being Christian because it's too restrictive.

Sad thing, truly, are the cousins and friends who are not believers; who pooh-pooh being Christian because it's too restrictive. I hate the thought of any of my family or friends being left behind to face the Tribulation; but at the same time, I sometimes wonder if experiencing the horrors of that time might be what is needed to bring some of them to their senses.
At least we can have the comfort of knowing that "a great multitude" of believers "which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues" are prophesied to come out of the Tribulation in Revelation chapter 7.
